agreed.

Bush tried everything he could.

He even sent florida law enforcement agents to get the girl to a hospital and insert the tube.

But they had no choice but to pull back. It seems that the local police are more then happy to be henchmen for the Judge. A judge, by the way, who had no problem with the fact that no modern technology MRI had been used.
A judge who is a judicial activist and let his own leanings play into the matter.

Florida LEOs had no choice but to pull back. The local police pretty much threatened that they would go to force.
No need for violence.

Have to disagree with you on that point. If Jeb had really wanted to take Terri into protective custody he would not have telegraphed his intentions in a news conference. From where I sit his so called "News Conference" was nothing more then a sham designed to make him look good.

He knew(and if he did not he should never had been elected Governor to begin with), that Greer was going to issue an order to keep the state from removing Terri, just as soon as he knew the state was going to try.

Surround the compound with the Florida National Guard. Include armor, humvees with .50 cals, hovering Apache helicopters, the works.

Accompany the Florida state officials with a detachment of fully-body-armored, heavy-weapons-packing Guardsmen.

Then dare the cops to pull the trigger.
