Hello freepers. This is a message from John Dunns(mustang) son Matthew, I'm sorry to inform all of you who knew him that he has passed away.He passed away on friday night of a massive heart attack. He would want you all to know. He loved this place. His obituary will be on St. Augustine.com (St. Auustine record) on monday. I was waiting for a password but my handle would be sonofMustang, I check this place on a daily basis while at work so I'll post soon.

I am saddened to hear of Mustang's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him as we FReeped Al Gore at the Jacksonville Friendship Fountain during the 2000 election recount debacle, when Gore was attempting to steal the election.
He devoted his life to the defense of our country, and will be sorely missed.
May he Rest in Peace.

Dear Pat and Matthew -- My goodness!!! I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear this sad news about John. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers for you and the rest of the family.
I am so glad that I got to see you two together last fall in Orlando when you were here (Oct 27, 2004) for the SwiftBoatVets for Truth rally. I'm going to look and see if I have some pictures around here that I might have taken at the time. If I don't have any, I'll check with some others who I know were taking pictures.
That was the last FReep I was on with you and Mustang. The one previous to that was when we were in Tallahassee during the 2000 election debacle.
What fun all of us Florida FReepers have had together over the years -- and what a close bond we have all developed.
I am not the only FReeper that is going to be missing him --- that's for sure. Our FReeps will never be the same without our dear Mustang.
Hang in there - you are much loved and in the prayers of many.
