Like many other anti-war demonstrators, Cindy Sheehan has been waiting for the 2,000th American to be killed in Iraq. When that happened on Tuesday, Sheehan, the mother of one of those slain soldiers, resumed her protest in front of the White House -- a tactic that one of her critics called "desperate."
"She will do anything to get publicity. Cindy Sheehan has been blown off the public map by [Hurricane] Katrina and [Hurricane] Wilma. She is desperate," said David Horowitz, the co-founder of the Los Angeles-based Center for the Study of the Popular Culture and a former 1960s radical turned conservative

She has lost everything, to include her own family, because of her actions over the last two months.
The ditch witch isn't the only one who will do and say anything for media attention.

If there is anything good to be said about the recent spate of natural disasters, it is that they have basically pushed Ms. Sheehan off the front page, at least temporarily.
Our DC Freeper team has been on the streets outside this place of healing for our wounded Iraqi and Afganistan and wherever else in the world our precious wounded defenders are stationed.
She is joining the commie code pinko thugs in their absolutely HORRIFIC effort to demoralize WOUNDED soldiers by deriding their mission.
I hope she gets an eyeful and an earful and a REALLY GOOD LOOK at how patriots feel about her traitorous actions.
She grows more pathetic with time.

She's desperate in more ways than one. That gal has to be the most uptight lib I've ever seen. If she wasn't so abrasive and frigid she might get some affection now and again and learn to mellow a bit.
