War on Wal-Mart We thought Wal-Mart had learned its lesson, but the retail giant still is shying away from officially endorsing Christmas! We'll take a look at some pastors who are trying to get Wal-Mart to mend its ways.

Democrats are creating a history of over reacting and over playing any hand they think they have. I like it. They are becomming the party of Chicken Little with their claims of The Sky Is Falling coming around every month. Over and over, each new claim is debunked or shown to be nothing more than crying wolf, and voters will react predictabily next year.

Guessing, but if Bush & Co use the 72 hour rule once they will be proving they should be doing it all the time, even when not necessary nor finding anything. So, they are trying to retain their perogative of executive control over the situation.

That's exactly why the administration doesn't often acknowledge their ravings. They can just sit back and watch the DUmmies go down in flames, instead of reacting to their ravings and take a chance of going down with them. I hope the average voter can see through them like they should be able to.
Agreed. Remember too, the average voter has responded and Republicans increased congressional seats in off-year elections for the first time in years. And, IF voters start to waiver, I'm sure Freepers and other conservatives will continue reminding everyone.

But, his numbers are going up because he finally got strong again on the war and generally telling the world how crazy the DUmmies are acting. I don't think trying to explain and explain the surveillance methods would be helpful, necessarily, because it looks a lot like excuse-making. And to me that comes across as weak. Maybe I'm wrong.
