Well, you have just killed all of the good humor that I have been experiencing this morning.

But...but...but...it's going to be a dry heat and you know what they say about dry heat!

Actually I don't know how it's happening but my a/c has managed to keep the house cool so far. Last year I could only get the house cooled down to about 85 during the day and it would be at least 80 inside until about 3:00am which made it hard to sleep comfortably.

I have never gotten used to the humidity here in Tenn.

I don't know what is worse, being wet all of the time or having a mouth full of sand . Used to live in West Texas/Eastern New Mexico.

Believe it or not, I freeze all summer. Broken thermostat - it's either on "high" or "off." And I don't pay for it, so I just wear jeans instead of shorts!

I had 2 very bad summers of sweat dripping off my nose onto the puter when I couldn't afford to run the A/C under 80 - and I'm one of those inherently "hot" people. Miserable.

I *earned* these two freezing summers, anyway.
