With all the recent talk about anti-Semitism, who would have thought that Jews would prove so popular?
A new Gallup Poll (released September 7, 2006) asked respondents how they felt about ten different religious groups, ranging from Fundamentalist Christians to Atheists. By every measure, Jews drew the most favorable reaction, with the highest positive rating (58%) and the lowest negative rating (only 4%)...

while 11% declared a very negative attitude toward Fundamentalist Christians. There's a good chunck of the moonbats.

Was this study sanctioned by CAIR?

its all but certain that some of the respondentsperhaps many of them simply lied when describing their favorable (or even neutral) feelings toward Jews. And so this poll is worth.... what, exactly?

By every measure, Jews drew the most favorable reaction, with the highest positive rating (58%) and the lowest negative rating (only 4%)... They obviously didn't poll the faculty of any of the Ivy League schools or DNC Headquarters.

The only reason Jew came up is because everyone is scared to death if they ever said anything but great things Jews they would be labeled anti-semetic. You anti-semite! ;-}

Probably 95% of the people didn't recognize the difference between Evangelical and Fundamental Christianity. Kinda of a strange poll. Clearly the people who don't think negatively about Scientology don't know about Xenu or the rest of that cult's beliefs.

Not suprising, since most Jews I've known and worked with stood for nothing religiously. It's hard to be unpopular with secular values.

Breaking it down (does anyone have the original results?):
Jews = positive rating 58%
Jews = negative rating 4%
Mormons = positive rating 28%
Mormons = negative rating 29%
Muslims = positive rating 26%
Muslims = negative rating 30%
Atheists = 15% positive rating
Atheists = 44% negative rating
Scientologists = 53% negative rating
Scientologists = 11% positive rating
"This helps to explain the stunningly favorable view of Jews by self-identified Republicansdespite the fact that more than 75% of the Jewish community regularly votes for the other party. Republicans show an overwhelming 70% positive rating for Jews (compared to only 51% by Democrats, who are less favorable to all religious groups except Atheists)."
Michael Medved will probably devote a segment this this on his radio show.

Something extremely skewed with this poll I would say.
What were the questions asked? And who paid for the poll?

And so this poll is worth.... what, exactly? Medved likes to cite polls and surveys.
