Saddam Video of Body after Hanging (New 1-8-07)

The Drop Broke Saddam's neck killing him instantly. At the executions following the Nuremberg Trials others were not so lucky.

THE TRIAL OF THE CENTURY--AND OF ALL TIME, PART TWO

"..The executions, in a brightly lighted prison gymnasium where three looming black wooden gallows had been erected, were witnessed by a handful of Allied military officers and eight journalists, one of whom, Kingsbury Smith of International News Service, wrote a famous newspaper article, "The Execution of Nazi War Criminals, 16 October 1946," based on his eyewitness observations. Although Smith discreetly omitted mentioning it, the experienced Army hangman, Master Sgt. John C. Woods, botched the executions. A number of the hanged Nazis died, not quickly from a broken neck as intended, but agonizingly from slow strangulation. Ribbentrop and Sauckel each took 14 minutes to choke to death, while Keitel, whose death was the most painful, struggled for 24 minutes at the end of the rope before expiring..."

How can you push somebody out who you can't DEPEND on to care what happens to this country, who's more interested in their own personal agenda than what's best fot the WHOLE country?

We've spent the last 16 years hearing about how your vote is for sale -- i.e., blackmailing the GOP.

The part you don't get is it's better to be PART of something than all alone; like I said, the GOP will moderate and find conservative Democrats who are scared of the freaks on the left to join with to save this country.

The GOP is willing to give you SOME of what you want (pandering) but you want all or nothing. You all just never understood that some of us don't agree with everything YOU want.

And you and I both know if conservatives could win by themselves, they would have already left us "great unwashed" Republicans.

Yeah, I meant to say that I should--to be fully respectful---send a greeting card to Robert Dole's prostate.

How nice of them to finally REPORT on the crimes against humanity by the former Saddam Hussein, Butcher of Baghdad.

It's the responsibility of a free press to inform an electorate many of whom weren't alive at the time of the crimes for which he was executed.

The Press, as a whole, are total failures. Frighteningly, almost willfully, shaping the agenda according to their own biases.

Muslims celebrating in Dearborn, MI, after hearing of the monster's death

May they tangibly appreciate the blessings of America, their new home, in their words and deeds, and defend and support her in gratitude for the welcome and freedom from tyranny their less fortunate brothers experience. Time they stepped up and spoke out against those in the Muslim world who wish us harm and try to tear US down.

Time they became part of the solution.

"Gerald Ford and the Helsinki Accords"

Good Lord! Gerald Ford couldn't even remember in a debate with Carter that Poland was still in the Soviet Bloc!!! Gerald Fords greatest accomplishment was to appoint ultra liberal John Paul Stevens to the US Supreme Court!

Now you're gonna try to carve up all the Reagan conservative movement members just like I watched Gerald Ford do on more interviews on NBC tonight! He was horrified at the right turn the Party took after Carter and evidently so are you!

Your crowd just thinks conservatism in something you can take for granted when you want to be in power. It's been a rough marriage. You can't stand us, yet you can't have power without us!

Wise up and stop insulting us like the former President did in his posthumus interviews on NBC tonight!!!

Saddam should have been killed the minute he was found hiding. It may saved the lives of several judges and lawyers and others who would have been happy to pull the trigger on him.

CNN is worried about the sensitivities of viewers to Saddam's execution but are showing video of gassed in the Kurdish massacre?!

Use this link to Anderson Cooper/CNN's Feedback form, and tell them what you think.

I told them why I thought they were obligated to show the video...

You (CNN) bear an obligation to show the hanging of Saddam Hussein.

Unedited.

Why?

1. Peter Arnett

2. Because you covered for Saddam's regime in order to be allowed to continue to work in the country while he was in power.

3. Because you showed the video of an "insurgent" sniper targeting an American soldier.

4. Because you showed video of the bodies of the Blackwater Security employees as they were mutilated and hung from the bridge in Fallujah.

5. Because you repeatedly show "unsettling" video and still images of dead and dying American and coalition soldiers.

6. Because you have no similar "good taste" to withold imagery of death, exectution, bloodshed of innocent Iraqis killed, maimed and tortured by the "insurgents."

7. Because you have to make up for the disgusting "in Memoriam" graphic you have up for the death of a madman.
