Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

and of course you would be taken in by a shyster

America needs thousands of patriots like Alan Keyes, desperately. I seriously doubt you have any concept of what conservatism even is.

No. I made that clear here in 2004. But, I’ll cut him a ton of slack because he is black, and I’m not, and because I agree with him 99.9% of the time. How many politicians do you know who hit that kind of average?

You made that clear in 2004? Gosh, I must have forgotten some comments you made three years ago on the subject. Now, who was it that was wondering how old I was? Well, I'm old enough to not be able to remember what EV said back in 2004 on some thread somewhere in cyberspace. LOL

Personally, I don't cut anyone a "ton of slack because he is black". That's like coming right out and saying that because of someone's skin color they just must be kind of stupid, or dense, or ignorant, etc, so we'll "cut 'em some slack". If I'm going to cut someone some slack, it'll be because they're OLD. LOL Gettin' older ain't for wimps, ya know.

It’s not a mortal sin if the choice is between Hillary and Rudy. It’s called the lesser of two evils.

I miss her like I miss a bad case of intestinal gas.

I’ve been here since 2002 and every time I had any interaction with her she was rude to the max and scorned social conservative values; either directly with me or with others.

She wasn’t and isn’t conservative.

I miss her too, like I miss a bad tooth ache.

I’m not instigating either.

I’m sifting through this windy Kansas wheatfield looking for needles of humor.

Many of those Americans went into the camps with successful farms and business, and came out and were paid a pittance for their property that had been sold.

In many cases they didn't own the land because of the prevalence of racial CC&Rs. Opportunists found it easy to take over businesses based on leases when the owners were locked up. Those victims didn't even recieve a pittance.

” It’s a pretty well known fact that DC is openly discussing things that go on here, which is just fine, however, it isn’t long after they start talking about certain people on FR (EV is their favorite target) the conversation suddenly shows up here. “

EV, it is true that you have become the number one target for the anti-freepers according to some of their sites. You should save the Keyes defending for after we end the anti-freepers promotion of Giuliani.

Do you have anything of substance to add to this thread. Because I haven’t seen anything yet. Just trolling.

I know you must not have caught up on the thread yet. I already said that I had misunderstood your post. I do apologize. It was certainly not intentional. We (others and I) had been talking about blacks/reparations/taxes in particular when you posted your comment.

So sorry.

That was an ugly part in our history. Some key placed people got quite rich off the scheme.
