Just tonight a (rare) liberal friend mentioned that He couldn't vote for Guliani as POTUS because he could not vote for a cross-dresser!
But this isn't about Rudy so much as us.
I have not changed my stance on the issues, nor have I suffered severe mental damage, at least not enough to vote for someone whose historical stance is against virtually all I believe in.
The caveat emptor part really comes in when the selfsame person claims they will appoint "Constitutionalist Judges", uphold the 2nd Amendment (NOT THE RKBA, but the 2nd), etc., etc., etc., and yet they are somehow going to win a crossover liberal vote?
Nope. They might be stupid in lala land, but they ain't dumb. They won't trust him either.
In the end, though those statements meant to placate those who are one-issue voters, (Pick one, I one-issue vote on five or so), but they don't realize these issues aren't something we just want, but that an incorrect stance on any of them is a blackball. It only takes one.
Unreasonable? Perhaps. But if one of the rasins in your pudding is a rabbit turd, it just isn't rasin pudding any more...
