I reluctantly voted for Huckabee. It's interesting that Rudy received a higher percentage of votes in the last poll than Huck did in this one.

Third party. I absolutely agree with Rush on McCain and Huckabee. Either would be a disaster and the end of the Republican Party as we know it.

We could probably survive less than stellar conservatives like Rudy or Mitt.

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:

Never forget McCain not only pushed the amnesty bill, he refused to allow exclusions for the worst of the lot. And he unloaded his infamous temper on his mild-mannered senate colleague for having the audacity to introduce this amendment.

I voted “Not voting.” With Fred out of the race, I’m resigned to staying home in November. Chide me if you will, but I’ve voted third-party before (Libertarian in 96, Buchanan in 2000) and am tired of wasting my vote, and there’s nobody left in the GOP I’m remotely interested in. And, of course, it’ll be the 42nd cold day in Hell before I vote for HRC.
