I see that. Men and women today think that the issue of an unplanned pregnancy is easily and cheaply "solved" with abortion. In the old days an unplanned pregnancy was often "solved" with a quickie wedding ceremony, making both parents wise-up, mature quickly, and take responsibility to both raise their child. Today's society scoffs at this. What? You're MARRYING the father/mother of your child? Why?

I don't for a minute believe we should go back to shaming women for having unplanned pregnancies. That doesn't advance anything. But responsibility and being responsible to the child you helped to create is what needs to return.
