How can you call yourself "basically prolife" if you support getting rid of "undesirable" babies? You have a right to your position, but don't delude yourself, you are basically pro-abortion, at least for certain people.
In the 35 years that abortion has been legalized in this country, illegitimacy has skyrocketed despite your solution to this problem. Abortion has not stopped the various social ills in the black community from expanding. In fact abortion is merely a marker of these ills, not any sort of solution, at least not in a free society.
all i see is the empirical evidence. and that is if every baby aborted was, in fact, born this country (and others) would be in worse shape if not irredeemable shape.
people do not understand what life is like in the inner cities where many of these procedures are taking place.
i see a single mother on the street with 4 kids from different men and i cannot imagine what it would be like if she had 7. i know i am simplifying the argument, but there is some truth to it.
but this is not a black or white issue necessarily. it is a socioeconomic issue as i see it.
