Can someone here answer a question that has really been bothering me?

Several weeks ago, Dr. Savage had loss of vision in one eye, and tho' I listened to most of his programs, I never found out what it was and if it was successfully treated. Having had a detached retina many years ago, I was hoping that this was not what he had, as it is very serious and difficult to treat.

He referred to himself as "One-Eyed Jack" once, and I hope that was a temporary moniker he called himself.

Thanks, everyone for this thread!

I didn’t hear that. My mom has macular degeneration, and it’s no picnic...

Didn’t hear that show, was it a repeat or a current one?

IIRC, Doc said it was minor, but who knows? (my dad had kind of the same thing. Part of the retina might have detached, but MRI was negative for that or stroke)
