Thank you. I am happy he came across well on national TV. He’s still new in many ways but he is honest and trustworthy, which cannot be said about his Democrat opponent.
And they will be surprised when their favorite candidates lose this time around, because after all the demonization is over, the voters are left with this image, "DO they trust their Democrat in the US House to actually vote to lower taxes AFTER the election, or will that Dem pull a Bart Stupak?" It's a referendum on all the Dems, not just Obama.

Schieffer was just asking Buck about ‘tax cuts for the rich’ and Buck had a good answer - don’t recall all of it, but he said (paraphrasing) we shouldn’t look at it as tax cuts, it’s where the taxes are now and it would be a tax increase.
I think Boehner is an extremely handsome dude. He’s dark and smoldering.

Nobody knows how big those late election surges are going to be. Christine closed 15 pts in the last 2 weeks and won by 5. You can bet the Dims are wondering.

I’d rather sit down and have a beer with O’Donnell than either Miss Nancy or Miss Hillary. Christine is better looking, has a better sense of humor, understands issues and the people better, and she’s not yesterday’s news.

Since they’re not paying attention to our words and don’t seem to believe their own polling, maybe the money angle will get their attention. But I’m not holding my breath. It’s hard to cut through such a thick layer of arrogance.
Exactly, no one had the cajones to touch on it it but the unions are the obvious problem. Rhee was interesting to watch she knows the real problem as well.
Good point. However, Hastert also allowed the GOP reps to spend like Democrats. I liked Hastert as an individual but I’m not sure I would label him as very effective. He also ignored younger GOP members for leadership positions which further alienated some in the base.

We had a pretty good Summer, and I'm a little depressed knowing full well that the crisp Autumn air means cold, wet and gray Wintertime is just around the corner...probably the regular lingering 6 month nightmare.
