ALL hail Lord Cheesus - the holy apparition that appeared in a pizza.
In a purported "miracle'', the face of Jesus Christ has appeared on a three-cheese pizza made at Posh Pizza in New Farm, Brisbane.
And the image can be yours to enjoy.
The shop, in the city's Fortitude Valley, has put the slice on eBay, and as of this morning bidding was up to $65.
All proceeds raised will go to a charity to be decided once the pizza is auctioned.
Posh Pizza's Maree Phelan said her pizza oven was seemingly blessed with the presence of Jesus Christ, who chose a three cheese pizza as his medium.
Phelan isn't convinced it's the son of God, but she's certain it got there on its own.
"I can definitely say this isn't a fake,'' she said.
"The three-cheese pizza always comes out with very different colours.''
It's already proven a good luck charm.
"After discovering it, the owner of the store parked in a loading zone and didn't get a parking ticket,'' they wrote on eBay.
There is debate as to whether the face resembles Jesus Christ or other well-known bearded men, with Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill a favoured candidate, with actor Viggo Mortensen and a long-haired Christian Bale popular choices.
''It's open to interpretation as many of these crazy, out there things are,'' Phelan said.
Australian Catholic University associate professor and director of the Institute for Catholic Identity and Mission, Patrick McArdle, said the pizza was "almost definitely not a miracle'' and would be hard to prove.
''There are a lot of misunderstandings in the making of saints and miracles,'' he said.
He said generally only "medical miracles'', such as healings, were accepted by the Catholic Church because those incidents could be tested using scientific means.

yep, I think it’s MJ, just look at the obviously fake cheese nose...
How does anyone know what Mary or Jesus looks like? Some painter’s version of what they want them to look like?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I always chuckle about that myself. Those painter’s were all medieval White guys. And what do Jesus and Mary look like (gasp) medieval White people. You wouldn’t believe the number of portraits of J&M I’ve seen that have them with blond hair and blue eyes. (Ayrian Hebrews from Asia? Umm ok...) To each his own.
And yes, no one knows what either of them actually looked like.
"When Jesus returns, he's not going to look like Ted Nugent....No, he's going to look like Charles Bronson and he's going to be.....pissed off!" - Robin Williams
This is just pitiful.
If someone claimed the “image” was Mohammed, the pizzeria would be firebombed instead of made a shrine.
Which is worse, idolatrous “Christians” or infidel Allah-worshippers?
This world is in so much trouble.
I’ll say one thing - thats a pretty crummy pizza. I’d want my money back if I were ever served such a lousy looking pie.
Looks like Che to me. Maybe it’s a Che’s pizza.
Cheeses of Nazareth
Do we get three wishes like Finn on Glee? Thank you, Grilled Cheesus!
We may as well go back to gutting chickens and throwing bones on a table again. We are missing the whole point of Jesus and His sacrifice. He even stated point blank to NOT worship idols for this purpose. This is the reason we aren't to have graven images.
The Bible doesn’t even give a description of Jesus while he was alive. There is a description of his heavenly form in Revelations, but not one of his physical life.
People depict him as being of whatever ethnicity as they are.
$65 for a slice of pizza on Ebay! Excuse me, I have to go out to the woodpile and find that piece of the True Cross I left out there...
I see it! I believe! LOL.
He looks swedish in Swedan, italian in Italy, mexican in mexico...
LOL
Lots of images probably appear in pizzas and other objects, but most people probably slice and eat them before they contemplate the various shapes and color patterns.
Che’se Guevara
Just tell them that most of these things are Fake as fake can be including the crying/bleeding statues. And, the people who believe it are almost all very elderly or 3rd world primitives.
That’s the truth. These are created to make money and always have been. Nobody knows how many of the Holy relics are even actually what they claim to be. But to me, all that doesn’t matter.
All faith is a personal journey.
If it makes them happy, if it is not malicious, I have no problem with it.
It is easy to point out odd ideas in any and all and every religion on Earth. That is a fact.
Australian pizza. Stay away from it.
Looks like the Geico caveman to me.
