I don’t go much for this cult of personality thing, where certain people can do no wrong. IF Bush messed up (and he did in this case) then he needs to get called out on it.

I have ALWAYS said that right is right. And wrong is wrong
and that is the compass to go by.
Just disappointed that Bush would have had ANY finger in
this to push CRA project along and hurt the free market
by forcing lenders to make loans to people that just flat
shouldn’t be getting them. That’s all.

PS: Back when Bush was President, I called him out when I
thought he was wrong, btw.
Recall the CFR Campaign Finance Reform that he SIGNED and
basically shrugged it off saying he thought that SCOTUS
would knock it back anyway? Well, I emailed him AND VP Dick Cheney trying to get him to VETO or pocket veto that.
But he signed it anyway and SCOTUS upheld the d@mn thing! :(
I also didn’t agree with Bush re his Immigration ideas.
But on the WOT War on Terror, he was bullseye, imho. And I
think overall he was pretty good. A LOT better than this
MARXIST we have as POTUS now, the Obama Regime !!
