Tracy Lundeen says it started with the phone calls. Then she was followed around her Renton middle school. Before long it evolved into demands for a date, and the incessant letters.
By the time Lundeen was in high school, she had obtained a no-contact order in an effort to end Shawn Moul's unwavering harassment. But it didn't deter Moul in fact, it seemed to embolden him.
In 2001, Moul was convicted of stalking Lundeen and repeatedly violating the order.
By then he had expanded his targets to include anyone he believed was trying to keep him from Lundeen.
He threatened the life of the judge who oversaw the 2001 case and wrote to the deputy prosecutor who put him behind bars, saying he would cut out the prosecutor's heart unless he turned over Lundeen's address and phone number, according to court filings.
He spent nearly eight years in prison.
Two years after his release, Moul resumed his efforts to contact Lundeen.
On Friday, Moul, now 31, was scheduled to again stand before a King County judge to face sentencing for stalking Lundeen. However, his sentencing was postponed until Sept. 2.

Let’s hope she carries.
Too bad the Ludovico Technique from Clockwork Orange was just fiction.
Yup. That would be one dead talking ape.
I thought the same thing. She’s a Mona Lisa without the smile.
I can’t believe some hitman hasn’t taken this up on his own and solved this problem.
This story is so crazy she’ll probably marry this flake when he is in jail. ;-)
What a nightmare. In this case, a lobotomy and/or castration for the perp seems in order.
In a more civilized time and day..these people were institutionalized and medicated for their and society’s benefit.
I have a neighbor who did just that and served 8 years in prison for it.......
His ex-girlfriend was a real wacko, she would show up in the pew behind him when he was in church, she vandalized his car multiple times, broke into his house several times and even tried to run over the sheriff officer who showed up on the scene once.....Yes, there was a restraining order against her but it never did any good.
He finally broke down and shot her. He was sentenced to life in prison but appealed it all the way to the state supreme court because the judge refused to allow important information relevant to the case to be admitted as evidence in support of my friend. Specifically, her own history of violence and that she had attempted to run over the sheriff........
After six years in prison, the supreme court ordered him a new trial and this time the jury sentenced him to eight years in prison with the six years he had already done as time served..........
I'm not condoning what he had done but everybody has their own breaking point. It's too bad that the system he was relying on to keep her away from him didn't work......
This guy is one seriously sick SOB.
Remember when we had institutions for mentally ill people like this?
Now they roam the streets.
Ugly and nutty. Unfortunate.
Those geoducks are good to eat, aren’t they?
After viewing the pics I have to say they are both guilty.
That would be a huge waste of money, and it would still leave him "someone who just needs killing".
What she really needs is friends or relatives to apply the 3S process to him. It should have been done when this thing started.
NO restraining order will stop my love!
I think Tracy could be a very beautiful woman, but that she has made herself totally plain to avoid arousing any normal male interest. She may have gained weight for the same reason, to make herself unattractive.
WHAT ABOUT THE PARENTS? If this had been my daughter I would have gone through a series of actions, starting with talking to the boys parents, when they were still in middle school. If it kept up after middle school we would have moved. No house or job is more important than my child. If somehow the jerk would have tracked her down, more drastic measures would be in order, which could conceivably come down to an unfortunate ending for the stalker in a state with a Castle Doctrine.
