Go Herman Cain!
“Let’s not focus on the profound victory of the BLACK guy.”
RACISTS!!!
From the article:I'm pretty sure those quotes are from September 22, before the straw poll. I've heard some establishment types trying to walk back from that since Hermain Cain's victory Saturday.
Blaise Ingolglia, the co-chair of the organization putting on the "Presidency 5" event, said this, according to NBC's "First Read":Ingolglia wasn't alone. Alex Patton, a Florida GOP consultant and pollster, said the events in the Sunshine State last week the Thursday debate and the Saturday straw poll would "separate out the wheat from the chaff."
Iowa is a test of the organizational strength. Iowa basically is a paid straw poll. ... This is actually more of a true representation of how the voters are going to vote in Florida.
"Romney's incredible 3 to 1 devastating loss to Herman Cain
proves nothing. To FOX News, me, Ailes and McGinniss,
Milt Romney will remain ... forever ... as YOUR only leading candidate."
Sarah Palin has also said that she is very fond of him... the closest she has come to endorsing any candidate. To be honest up until a few days ago I had not paid much attention to him. He has a lot of depth. I think that because of his ability to split the black vote, strong Tea Party support, and his very appealing persona that he has a great chance to give Obama the boot.
Article is a two-fer for the “other” candidates. It takes down Perry for NOT winning, while devaluing Cain’s “win” by suggesting nobody really supported him.
Being NPR, they probably figure this means we all want Chris Cristie to enter the race.
