Hugo Chavez has another election coming up. He’s got to do something to increase his approval ratings, so he’s planning to seize privately owned homes and hotels so he can offer vacations in paradise to the masses.
Venezuela president Hugo Chavez’s policy of nationalising strategic private businesses has taken a new twist with his announcement that his government will expropriate hotels and holiday homes at an upmarket Caribbean resort.
The president plans to turn Los Roques, an idyllic archipelago of deserted beaches of perfect white sand with swaying palms and dazzling coral reefs, into a state-run getaway for his country’s urban poor.
Speaking on national television, he said that yachts and speedboats confiscated from fugitive bankers would be used to transport holidaymakers from the mainland. “There are some houses there that were illegally built. We are going to expropriate them.”

How long before agents of a Housing Czar come knocking on the doors of empty-nesters in their 2 - 3 - 4 bedroom homes to inform them that in fairness and sharing of wealth their home will be better utilized by a momma and her 6 kids than an elderly couple and therefore they have 30 days to vacate.

This is just one of the hidden end goals of the wall street “occupiers”. With stated demands like “forgive ALL world debt”, this is NOT a stretch.
I really think it could happen here. A new twist on “public housing”. I have always hated that term, by the way. It isn’t for the “public”.
Their “demands” aren’t hidden at all.

I am going for Michael Moores' or Warren Buffets'. They both say the rich need to pay more.
For the good of our respective Countries Obama and Chavez both need to go! They are both Marxist Commies cut from the same cloth.... We have to wait until 2012 to take Obama out of office....the people of Venezula might not have to wait so long considering the health of Chavez.
Perhaps an interesting “project might be to encourage the unemployed and homeless to “occupy”, say, Beverly Hills or The Hamptons or Greenwich CT or Malibu and demand shelter in the mansions and estates and vacation homes of our wealthy leftists .....
It would all of course be a “spontaneous popular movement” inspired by “citizens’ moral outrage”, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah.
