KARACHI The American government is willing to promote the US investment in Pakistan, particularly in the energy sector. This was stated by US Consul General William Martin during his visit to Karachi Stock Exchange where he also rang the bell for commencement of the days trading. He assured the audience of the United States commitment to a strong bilateral relationship and to continuing strengthening of economic opportunities between the two countries. William expressed his delight on his visit to the Karachi Stock Exchange. US Consul General applauded the initiative by the KSEs Board to promote dialogue with regional exchanges. He stated that US will provide the investments and ideas to help Pakistan realize its unlimited potential.

At first I thought you were kidding. But when one considers the investments the government has in mind for our domestic economy, like high speed rail and solar panels with obsolete technology, goats and camels start to look pretty attractive.
The very fact that this is considered legitimate “news” shows how far down the Rabbit Hole the US has gone.
