Female Combat Pilot Wants to Kick Santorum 'in the Jimmy' for Remarks on Women

A retired female fighter pilot running for former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' open seat in Congress said Friday that Rick Santorum's recent remarks on women in combat make her want to "go kick him in the jimmy."

Martha McSally, a retired US Air Force colonel and a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, is running in Arizona's congressional special election as a Republican. According to her Facebook page, she was the first American woman to fly in combat since the 1991 lifting of a ban on women in that role.

Appearing Friday morning on FOX News Channel's "FOX & Friends," she called the Republican presidential candidate "completely out of touch" for saying that the "emotions" felt by men seeing a female soldier in harm's way may jeopardize their mission.

What union would that be?

What difference would that make?

And how do you come by that piece of wit and wisdom?

Those likening this to Israel have not kept up with the latest developments. Even Israel backed off of a idealistic egalitarianism when more sober study (and old time religion can be thanked for providing an environment in which such a study was still possible) showed that there are some places the ladies make sense and some places they plain don’t. If you got a pack of hounds you don’t necessarily want them constantly distracted with having a cute fox among them, among other concerns.

Any “gal” who wants badly enough to be one of the guys to get a Marine shave haircut should be permitted.

My Marine daughter shaved her head to look more 'squared away' and 'motivated' and she lost a stripe over it.

And without a rooster, the hens’ eggs will never hatch. There is no poultry posterity, so to speak. So even a rooster has a place. If he can out cockadoodle Newt and Obama, may he win his way to the top of the roost.

Even if she was marvelous on her own missions that says nothing about her wisdom on overall policy which stretches far beyond what she herself did. Maybe in fact she should be allowed to show that she is a bit of a she-ass after all.

She'll get the chance to do just that. According to the Wikipedia, there are at least two other veterans, both male, competing on the Republican side. As for her wisdom on overall policy, FWIW, she has a Masters in Pubilc Policy from the Kennedy School, and policy wonkery has been her profession since leaving the service.

The primary is April 17, and the general is June 12.

Yeah like flying a U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft (or maneuvering a schooner) over the last thirty years has been like being in combat. I laugh.

Try humping an 80lb ruck and getting shot at for a living.

Piss off McSally.

And the school itself has been how compromised now? We should look more than skin deep.

“McSally was represented by the Rutherford Institute in her successful 2001 lawsuit against the Department of Defense, challenging the military policy that required US and UK servicewomen stationed in Saudi Arabia to wear the body-covering abaya when traveling off base in the country.”

Don't know. The Air Force isn't unionized as far as I know, so it would have been interesting if you knew something.

However, I believe women are capable of a variety of skills much better than men. My own daughter was 5’4”, and could take down of man of 200+ pounds with her boot at his throat in a matter of seconds

Sure she did, and I once beat up one million Navy SEALs while blind folded.

Are we going to have women register for the draft?

It seems like when that is brought up, there are howls of outrage by the feminists.

Women have no business being near combat-period.

I don’t care what he says after the elections. I just don’t see any benefit in remotely alienating women. He’s not garnering any additional votes on these matters.

He’s teased to express his soul only for the purpose of exploitation. The Left is fully aware of the connection between Rick and those yearning for the moral bromides. The misunderstandings, gaffes, and unsolicited foolery of ultracons are intentionally being elicited — the aspirin between the knees.

I have no problem with Santorum’s rhetoric. It’s often taken out of context, misrepresenting his views. Contrary to what the antagonists say, he’s not a Rightwing hard ass. He has an affable heart, and wants the best for everyone. He’s not the mean-spirited troglodyte the Left is painting him out to be. He’s really a good guy.

My issue with Rick is Liberty, how he votes, and his inability to win the General.

I know many here don’t like Newt, but I’m convinced he’s the only candidate at this point that has the ability to turn things around.

I want my damn Country back. I don’t need to feel good about who I’m voting for.

Great, we need more women on the front lines of combat. Let’s be like the muslims and put our women in harm’s way.

The Israelis do it, too.

Surely you see the difference??
Israel is surrounded by enemies that daily seek to destroy the Country and every one in it. The are constantly under attack in and around there homes. Given the situation even their children are in combat...........
