Let me make a connection. This perp is apparently a white person who killed about 13 people and wounded 50 others. Every weekend in Chicago gangbangers, rappers kill about 50 people....3 or 4 times the number killed in Aurora. No connections are made to the people who kill the children of Chicago. But, there will not be left one stone unturned in the Colorado shooting. But, because the past chief of staff of Obama is mayor and Obama is from Chicago, that juxtaposition will not be reported.

It is a tragedy of monumental purportions regarding the shooting in Aurora. It seems not reportable that 4 times this many people are killed in Chicago every weekend.

And why is the media silent about gang violence in Chicago and other cities? Is it because the media doesn’t want to be accused of racism if they highlight such crimes?

Have you noticed that almost all of the flash mob incidents involve black youth, yet the media never mention race or ethnicity of such people. If they report the incidents at all. Anecdotal evidence is that the media really downplay the flash mob shoplifters and their mayhem.

The media will try to make some political statement about this.
