No, I disagree. They have written this to show that buying guns and practicing at a range are why he killed so many. Without reading the piece I would bet the majority of comments are all about how ranges need to be shut down and without ranges and guns there would be no more gun violence.

Unfortunately, your comment here does not reflect the tone of this article, which seems to be well-balanced -- not eulogizing or taking an anti-gun stance. The article contains data that may perhaps not be given elsewhere.
The authors of this piece deserve your apology, IMHO.
