The big issue with this is the property tax that goes to schools. Those families living in Mexico don't pay and the schools and state get shorted on money. I also believe its against AZ law to attend a public school and not reside in the district.

That last part is true, the families get around that by saying the kids live with Tia Maria in Douglas during the school year. Which doesn’t account for them crossing the border on a daily basis...oh well.
