TEXAS - The National Enquirer just dropped a bombshell on the Cruz campaign and the internet exploded overnight. Reports claim investigators found Ted Cruz allegedly had an affair with five different women.

According to the Enquirer:

“Private detectives are digging into at least five affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had,” claimed a Washington insider. “The leaked details are an attempt to destroy what’s left of his White House campaign!” The ENQUIRER reports that Cruz’s claimed mistresses include a foxy political consultant and a high-placed D.C. attorney!

The publication did not name names and only printed pixelated photos. The Cruz story reminds me of John Edwards. I don’t read NE but I don’t totally discount them either.

Cruz is sounding unhinged today. He can’t seem to get through a sentence without mentioning Trump.

#CruzSexScandal had 416,000 tweets as of this morning on Twitter. It outnumbered Happy Easter by nearly 3 to 1. Cruz knows that the cat is now out of the bag. He is trying to blame Trump for everything today. It is all damage control. Cruz has completely lost his focus. He has been a very bad boy and all Trump needs to do now is sit back and try to take shelter from the now inevitable implosion.

Seems to me that if Ted Cruz is able to manage a wife, 5 mistresses, a Senate seat and a winning campaign for the Presidency all at the same time he has demonstrated amazing political, resource allocation, time management and conflict resolution skills and amazing an amazing amount of stamina - all of which are important job skills for being president.

I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it.

Likewise, I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.

I look forward to spending the week in Wisconsin, winning the Republican nomination and ultimately the Presidency in order to Make America Great Again.
