KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters raised his fist through the national anthem before Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium, as the team interlocked their arms.
The Chiefs won't be alone in their demonstration during the Star Spangled Banner on Sunday. The Seattle Seahawks have said they also plan to stand and interlock arms. Their opponent in the game, the Miami Dolphins, plan to take another approach.
Dolphins running back Arian Foster told ESPN's Bob Holtzman that he plans to take a knee and raise his fist during the national anthem. He said some of his teammates will join him. Foster said Dolphins players met on Friday and agreed to make their own decision on how to handle Sunday's anthem.

When the spectators stop coming to watch them, they're going to have to get real jobs with real salaries.
When sports fans are limited to people who look like them, and can only earn according to their useful abilities, stadiums will soon be empty. Welfare and food stamps can afford only to go so far, and drug sales will dry up.
Things should get really interesting then.
It’s functionally already over. With over 1600 players in the league they’ve got 2 kneels and 2 fists. It’s basically a non-event. Literally everybody who’s complained about this has spent more time complaining than all the players have spent “protesting” combined.
So far I haven’t seen anything to make me mad at my Falcons.
Except their play. :o)
In return, I will watch nothing with lots of blacks in it. I was pretty much doing that already. I guess I’ll have to learn to live without the Kardashians, the NFL, and Cops.
It’s time to stop watching ESPN and the NFL. I don’t care what these morons think. Compensation in inverse proportion to IQ and contribution to society defines these fools.
While I love the college sport, I rarely watch ESPN and never watch the NFL.
I foresee that any new contract will include a clause that ends this idiocracy.
It has become a contest to see who can disrespect America the most on national TV.
NFL is good to look at on Sundays, but the ratings will decline.
No doubt they’ll continue to vote for the party that runs the cities where all of these black shootings occur.
Make it hurt.
They demand respect, for what? they should respect our country and the flag that makes it possible for them to live in utter luxury.
We need to boycott the games and put pressure on the companies that pay for their endorsements.
I am so sick of this behavior.

When Arian Foster played in Houston last year he announced he was an atheist.
Dropping to his knees and raising his fist during the National Anthem just means he continues his self worship!
