Been there off ship on a vacation through the Mediterranean three times.
I saw changes, I saw it get worse and worse.
Why would anybody fancy visiting Turkey, past or present? What’s to learn and enjoy over there? What is Turkey’s contribution to humanity, culture, science, etc., besides millions of corpses throughout Europe and Asia over the last few centuries?
Thanks, I’m not surprised. Based on a number of people who lived there and a couple who grew up there.
One of those who grew up there finds it hard to believe how it is now. He is an honest person, but it hurts him to think about it.
