The owner of the Virginia restaurant that banned his daughter, White House Press Sec. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, organized a mob and followed her family to their next restaurant where they yelled and screamed at them, Former Governor Mike Huckabee said Monday.
While national media have reported Sarah Sanders’ ouster from the restaurant on Friday, “There’s a part of that story that has not been told,” Mike Huckabee told radio host Laura Ingraham on Monday:
“Once Sarah and her family left – of course Sarah was asked to please vacate – Sarah and her husband just went home, they’d had enough. But, the rest of her family went across the street to a different restaurant.
“The owner of the Red Hen – nobody’s told this – then followed them across the street, called people and organized a protest, yelling and screaming at them from outside the other restaurant and creating this scene.”
A family member - who is ardently anti-Trump – then went outside to confront and rebuke her fellow liberals, Huckabee says:
“One of the members of Sarah’s in-laws who were there – by the way, most of her in-laws, not her mother in-law and father in-law, but most of them are very liberal. And, one of them walked out and said: 'Look, I don’t like Trump. I’m not a supporter. I’m a far – considered liberal – but, you guys are embarrassing me and you’re not helping your cause.'”
“It was ironic, and he said, ‘Sarah’s not even here; you’re yelling and screaming at somebody who’s not here.’"
Huckabee warned that Americans need to be wary of how dangerous this type of harassment is:
“This is what the Left has been reduced to – it’s really tragic. And, it is dangerous and that’s what I think people need to recognize.”

Stalking. Harassment. Disorderly conduct.
Pretty soon the hard left is going to awaken the sleeping giant, and will deeply regret doing so.

I didn’t see any physical confrontation in the story.
I think people are allowed to assemble to protest a public figure. 1st Amendment right to assembly, right to redress grievances. There are laws on the books to inhibit assembly, I’ll grant you that. Personally I don’t think they hold much Constitutional muster.
This feels so staged. There’s more to this story.
See my post above. I am sure there are laws on the books covering various types of assembly. Not sure whether I would personally accept their Constitutionality.
I perused your first link. Again I don’t think I would personally accept the Constitutionality of any of them other than obstructing someone’s path. A law against calling a “chaste woman” a nasty word is an absurd law. The right to assemble and redress grievances is protected by the 1st Amendment.
I dont understand. Why werent the police called. This is not lawful activity.
And why dont they come to my home and harrass me? Please, please, please LEFTIES, come harrass me.
Now I believe Trump that that restaurant is filthy, because the owner is obviously crazy. She can’t possibly run a business correctly. Plus the kind of employees she’d hire would be the dregs of the Earth.
If it happens to be Wilkinson’s instead, I won’t shed a tear. She wanted this. She threw down. Let her suffer the consequences.

I called the restaurant number earlier today and received a message that their number has restricted calling. I guess they are only taking calls from their own area code?

The leftist owner Wilkinson neglected to mention they carried the fiasco across the street.
