The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
No, but I understand Politics and I understand the media... and know that what a headline claims and what is actually said are NOT the same thing.
Flake was never on the fence... not once, find me one quote where he said he intended not to vote for Kavanaugh.... You can’t because they don’t exist.
The Dems threw this allegation out there and Flake said she should have a chance to testify, that’s it... but it was spun and presented as he’s wobbling when in fact he was simply stating the reality, let her testify... that’s not I’m going to vote against the judge...
Same thing with Murkowski and Collins... they have never once said or done ANYTHING that implies they intend not to vote for Kavanaugh...
Stop buying into headlines and flappy lipped talking heads, and actually look and read, if you can find it, what is ACTUALLY SAID... not what someone claims was said, or a headline blares was said... find the actual quote....
Unlike the Health Care vote, where you had petty personal vendettas in play, this is a supreme court justice confirmation. Voting down Kavanaugh is not a slap to Trump... he just nominates someone else... it doesn’t hurt him in any major way, but it will harm the Republican Party big time and the court and the nation, if we are to say anyone ever accused of inappropriate behavior as a child is unfit to serve.. on that basis alone...
And that’s the argument that the left is trying to put forward, and its not going to sell...
Realize you are sold drama to make money off you... you need to watch, read, tune in for them to get paid... so everything is sold as more drama than it really is, particularly in politics... Do you think McConnell doesn’t have the votes?
If so, show me how you believe that, what action, statement or otherwise, has the Republican Senate leader given to believe that he is not confident of the outcome?

I cried when my Dad died in Vietnam. I cried about 40 years later when my Mom died. I’m not a cry type of guy, I guess. But I don’t hold it against guys who respond with some tears. No bawling, but getting choked up is OK with me. Just not my style.
Trump may can convince the Senate, but ONLY the Senate can confirm Kav. If the Demonrats get enough RINO skids to vote him down, if the RINOs are running scared to vote NO just because they think they've offended almighty WOMAN by even questioning Ford, it's OVER. There will never be another conservative on the Supreme Court. See why? Because the Demonrats will throw false accusations at ANYONE Trump nominates. If a fine upstanding man like Brett Kavanaugh can be felled by these false accusations, a SITTING APPELLATE JUDGE who has been in the public eye for 24 years after SIX FBI investigations, then NO MAN is good enough to get on the Supreme Court. The Demonrats win.
That's why it's Kavanaugh, or none. The battle lines are joined. There is no more time for other nominees. It's now or never. This isn't 1993 and Kavanaugh isn't Thomas. This is the FINAL BATTLE for the Republic. If we lose this, the Constitution is no longer in force. Only almighty Feminism rules arbitrarily, if we lose this.
The FBI should investigate....Feinstein, that is.

I think the point is to have a fair hearing of Ford’s charges, not to do a fluff job on Kavanaugh. He’s strong enough to answer tough questions.
