I didn't get that impression at all. She was clearly acting today, from the tear-free crying to the little girl voice to the feigned shyness this was all a big act. That was the reason for the delay. Finswine had Ford rehearsing for two weeks.
What was left out of the hearing was that Kavanaugh was on Romney's list of SC possibilities in 2012, the very year Ford started "remembering" her "truth" about Kavanaugh.
Ford is a 'rat activist doing her part for the millions of feminazis who want to retain the right to kill their babies. It's that simple.

I grew up in Chicago. I got to see the underbelly of the Democratic Party firsthand. By the time I was a teenager, I concluded that to be a Democratic you had to be stupid and/or ignorant.
To be a Democratic politician you also had to be a liar and a crook. The Kavanaugh confirmation has proved to me that to be a Democratic politician you also have to be evil.
