BREAKING: Flake calls for delay of Kavanaugh vote to allow for FBI investigation

Sen. Jeff Flake just said he would vote to move Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the Judiciary Committee and to the floor of the Senate as long as the main vote would be delayed by up to one week to allow for an FBI investigation.

FBI has already said there’s nothing to investigate. But with that said Trump appointing a democrat deepstater named Christopher Ray as head of the FBI might go ahead and investigate every single allegation brought again Kavanaugh, and you can bet democrats are lining up other skanks today to claim that Kavanaugh assaulted them and you can bet that one of them will be a recent assault and the woman will claim to be a republican. Trump needs to tell Wray if they thought there was nothing to investigate weeks ago there’s still nothing to investigate,

I hope the FBI sends a memo later today: “For the THIRD time, there is NOTHING to investigate. Case CLOSED.”

Then I hope McConnell schedules the opening debate vote for 5am tomorrow, the ending debate vote for 5am on Monday, and the confirmation vote at 6am.

Then I hope McConnell has a private word with Jeff: “Up yours Flake. I hope your lobbying career is just as successful as your Senate career.”

Of course the “FBI Investigation extension” needs to have its scope limited to just the specific allegations raised verbally in yesterday’s hearing and have a cutoff limit of exactly one week after the gavel came down in today’s meeting.

This isn't about "investigating" him. It's about delaying even longer, so that they can roll out even more bogus accusations. They've undoubtedly got a room full of "victims" waiting in the wings -- or else they wouldn't be doing this.

If they do this Kavanaugh will never make it, and every other nominee will bogged down in 8 month long investigations, which then need interpreted by 12 month senate hearing, NOPE, TAKE THE VOTE RIGHT NOW, MAN UP, DO IT, THE DEMOCRATS WOULD HAVE ALREADY HAD THEIR GUY IN AN ON HIS FIRST CASE.

I don’t think he was that unambiguous in his statement. Scumbag Flake parses his words very effectively. I thought he said, “he could choose to vote no” on the floor vote if the committees recommendations are not implemented; not that “he would choose to vote no”. Either way, his committee vote was only predicated upon the fact that the committee make the delay and due diligence recommendations to the Majority Leader.
