Sen. Jeff Flake just said he would vote to move Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the Judiciary Committee and to the floor of the Senate as long as the main vote would be delayed by up to one week to allow for an FBI investigation.

Of course it is not binding in any way but he said he would not vote to confirm BK on the floor without this “one week” FBI investigation. So he actually does have some leverage.

If the FBI investigates, can’t witnesses just tell the FBI to pound states?
In other words, FBI cannot subpoena. All they can do it take statements from willing witnesses, correct?
If so, Smyth, Judge, etc. are likely to tell the FBI to pound sand.
ONE WEEK INVESTIGATION....THEN THEY WONT FININSH SO IT WILL BE TWO WEEKS AND SO ON!!
