CNN reports: "James Watson, who discovered the double-helix structure of DNA alongside Francis Crick in the 1950s based on the work of British chemist Rosalind Franklin, said in a PBS film that genes cause a difference in intelligence between white and black people in IQ tests.
"The 90-year-old's comments were labeled 'reprehensible' by the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) on New York's Long Island, where Watson had been the director from 1968 to 1993.
The laboratory said it 'unequivocally rejects the unsubstantiated and reckless personal opinions Dr. James D. Watson expressed,' noting the statements were 'reprehensible [and] unsupported by science[.]'"
Watson was shortly relieved of his administrative duties, but not his title.
Among other "reckless" statements attributed to the Nobel winner, Watson implied what has been statistically proved over and over: that stupidity is linked to genes. In CNN's report, the word "unsubstantiated" stands out most glaringly, especially in light of the existence of a warehouseful of substantiation to support Watson – for example, documented statistical IQ differences among the races among humanity.
We cannot divine intent from an off-the-cuff comment made by a genius whose body of work has been of incalculable benefit to mankind – especially when science backs his comments. Rather, we determine using verified data from corroborated sources the range of intelligence – and therefore intellectual output and performance – among various races. The reader can then decide for himself if the cited genius was correct in his assessment. None of these comments is meant to defend the reprehensible, the inexcusable, or the injustice that groupthink, ostracism, socialism, racism, and anti-Semitism have wrought on mankind.

Societal? Until very recently, Asian societies existed in very strict hierarchies. Only the last several generations have really broken free. Just saying....

I've said this many times: people tend to focus on the day-day current events that dominate media and news. However, deep in the background are never-ending, ongoing technological discoveries and developments that end up altering and changing the course of history and our very societies.
For example, one can review the social strife and progressive elements during the era Tesla patented his AC processes, or when the Wright brothers flew. Anyone remember them or what their grievances were? What was the cultural cause de jour when Einstein resolved E=MC2 - which led to nuclear weapons? Or, perhaps one prefers Shockley's sold-state amplifier (aka transistor) which begat ICs, computers and the net. Maybe Von Bruan's team that perfected the gyroscopes for missile guidance has had the biggest impact?
I can go on, but hopefully everyone gets the point. Every now and then some news will leak out about various DoD black programs about insect forces, etc. While politics force departments to play lip service, the real work goes on competing against Russia, China and other advanced countries who are busily working on the "perfect soldier". And how might they go about that task? Hint: no one has to tell them that genetic alterations via applied methodologies is the golden ticket.
And like the moon shot program of the 60s fueled subsequent computer technologies, the commercial market application for base alternations of color, size, shape, beauty and intelligence will become a monster sized economic segment.
Because they have continually done 2 things throughout history:
1) Remained introverted with regards to most international/foreign activities, partially due to their opinion of foreigners
and
2) Continually harmed themselves through internal infighting and overthrow.
Both could be attributed to overblown ego or natural inclination due to high IQs.
Its true about IQ and the races.
I see it in my workplace now for 31 years. AND they don’t hold the minorities feet to the fire like me.
We live on a globe where these ideas are considered outrageous.
What I have to rememeber is that to GOD our souls are unique each and every one. The race you are born into does not effect this.
Based on the analysis, the European countries are all shades of blue, so I would think they are statistically not significant, if there differences, probably p value < 0.10. I doubt levels at 0.01, which is generally the statistical significance level for “highly significant”
I will put in a plug for the Italian populations of Sicily and Southern Italy for life-span, there have been several recent academic studies and news articles that shows they live the longest. Of course, the Medical Doctor from California who I saw on a news story done by CBS a few years ago was very careful to say, it was lifestyle, diet, culture, and then also finally genetically related, LOL. he did not want to say that, but he had to admit it.
And why is that? Who owns & controls the media? Would it be a certain group that has certain inbreeding characteristics along with above average IQ?
So, why the artificial campaign to deny reality? Ever hear the phrase "everything is fair in love & war"? Why the intentional propaganda war to deflect and deny the truth about racial differences? What purpose does it serve and to whom?
If life is nothing but a struggle for scarce resources, then the name of the game is power, control & dominance. As such, any means and tools available to achieve those ends are suitable for deployment.
Never forget that we're the enemy - they want us defeated. But as I mentioned in my original point, hardly anyone pays attention to what's happening in the background. Media - the group's core asset - focuses on daily events, missing the really big developments.
We are very very close to genetic manipulation. What happens when commercially available gene therapies become widely available? What standards of beauty will be embraced? What government social programs will be launched - sort of like the 50s polio campaigns - eradicate IQ differences within population groups?

Mental links after death prove difficult to measure from a point of consciousness. However, that sentience logically can travel the universe of time and space unhindered by a human body to a far greater degree.

Racism will all but disappear, just like there is little racism between whites and Asians.
It isn’t skin color that causes racial prejudice, but the corrolation between visible physical features and IQ. If blacks had the same IQ distribution as whites there would be little if any discrimination.
Obvious physical differences such as height don’t corrolate highly with intelligence therefore there is no such thing as height-ism, except in places like the NBA where height does corrolate with success.
EQ is different. It is a set of competencies that individuals use to manage their emotions and relationships. Many describe emotional intelligence in terms of successful leadership, and some consider emotional intelligence to be a factor in determining career success.
Emotional intelligence is the ability to identify and manage your own emotions and identify the emotions of others. It is generally said to include 3 skills:
Emotional awareness – the ability to identify your own emotions and those of others
Emotional harnessing – the ability to harness emotions and apply them to tasks, like thinking and problem solving
Emotional management – the ability to manage emotions, including the ability to regulate your own emotions, and the ability to cheer up or calm down another person
The emotional intelligence test asks a series of questions to find out how you react in various situations. These include:
Stressful or frustrating situations
Failures or discouraging situations
Leadership positions and methods for achieving success
Methods for managing the emotions of others of various ages
Methods for assessing various personality traits in others
Dealing with diversity and cultural sensitivities
By assessing these behavioral factors, the test generates an EQ (emotional quotient) score. EQ is used in conjunction with emotional intelligence.
EQ parallels the term IQ, distinguishing emotional capacity as a separate form of intellect. Intelligence is a person’s ability to learn and typically remains the same throughout life. Emotional intelligence, on the other hand, is acquired and can improve over time. While some people are born with it, others learn and practice EQ skills throughout life.
I think the problem with Modern Greece is leftist-Socialist leaning Governments. They have had it longer in the Post WW2 period than other European Countries. But others are starting to catch up, although there does seem to be a backlash to the Globalist-leftist ideology in Europe in favor of more Nationalism with Internationalism. By that I mean countries protect their culture, language, traditions, have their own tax laws, immigration laws, etc, not some EURO bureaucrat. Internationalism means you have alliances like NATO and Trade Unions. Those promote cooperation for national security, terrorism and trade economic stability for countries in your region. However, it does not mean a loss of national sovereignty with respect to local laws in terms of abortion laws, euthanasia laws, gender laws, immigration laws, tax laws, etc, etc, etc.
Success is not just from IQ. Things like willingness to take risks, and ability to form stable groups are also important.
Each baby comes with a genetic “toolbox” of varied talents.
Childhood is spent learning skills and using that emerging genetic talent.
But most importantly children gain values either because of, or in spite of parenting.
At about puberty, personality is pretty well set.
From then on, that package of genetics, intelligence, skills, and values has to compete with others.
Each of us gains or loses various competitions and then gains or loses various rewards.
How well we do at that effort-reward system determines happiness and eventually, the highest goal, satisfaction.
Of all the contributing success factors, boldness is the most important.
Boldness makes better competitors.
Better competitors are more likely to reproduce, lead and train others, and earn more rewards.
If you look at the original cultures of Africa, Europe, and Asia in the light of producing competitive people, you can more easily understand the degree of any culture’s success.
Not at all. What could be summed up as "culture" is most highly correlated with success.
It's not complicated. Not everyone has to be a rocket scientist.
And successful culture is correlated with IQ.
How many low average IQ societies have successful cultures?
It’s my understanding (limited) that Europeans have a form of gene, called an allele, for risk-taking that is mostly absent in Asians. You can’t invent without taking risks.
Perhaps in 150 years time, people will look back at our era and wonder how we ever persevered under such conflict, shake their heads and feel sorry for us. Consider our opinion and judgment about living conditions that existed just 150 years ago from today: peopled died of all kinds of horrible diseases like TB, polio, dysentery, cancer, etc with no real anesthesia or effective medical means to extend/prolong life.
The medical miracles we consider "normal" today are just another example of the advances made in science and technology that fundamentally alter society. So too will be global IQ improvement initiatives undertaken by a cooperation of governments.
It will be interesting how fast certain groups change their tune. They'll go from clamoring for reparations to demanding federal spending programs to "inoculate" everyone. And more than welfare, affirmative action or a host of deleterious social initiatives, this one will be the one that actually works to at least level the playing field.
And for those paying attention, more than high tech, more that a range of possible investment opportunities, commercialized gene therapies for both medical and cosmetic purposes will be the "next big thing".
What is disturbing is not the obvious reality. What is disturbing is the frenetic denial--the hysterical denial, of a variety not seen since the flat earth & geocentric psychological resistance to reality in an earlier age.
The modern phenomenon, which insists that we all pretend that people are interchangeable--clearly an insult to all of us who respect the uniqueness of one another--largely reflects a fanatical Collectivist egalitarianism, intent upon justifying a Leftist Compulsion For Uniformity.
The tragedy is that demagogues on the Left have succeeded in marginalizing those they claim to be protecting, by focusing on imagined grievances, rather than developing talents unique to individual subjects. Compassion Or Compulsion?
