Rep. Rashida Tlaib may test Democratic claims that no one is above the law
Fox News ^ | November 19 2019 | Jason Chaffetz

Freshman House Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., reportedly received payments from her campaign while running for office in 2016. While such unusual arrangements can be legal under narrow guidelines during the campaign season, Tlaib allegedly continued to take money from the campaign after the election, potentially violating federal law. Any payments prior to the election also must meet stringent requirements regarding legitimate campaign expenses.

In a report last week, the Board of the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) announced that the House Ethics Committee would extend its investigation into Tlaib after finding "substantial reason to believe" she violated campaign finance laws.

It was unusual and significant that specific documentation, including emails from Tlaib, was released to the public.

Dems mean "no one is above the law except for the Clintons, Biden and other Obama officials, Democrat lawmakers and millions of illegal criminal aliens".

It’s an OUTRAGE (actually an expected one) that she has SO MANY crimes under the belt (just like the muslim bitch) and NOTHING happens.

But then we paid what, 20 million to cover sexual abuse lawsuits by, i’m sure, a group that included a decent number of Rs

THEY ALL STINK except for a few!!

“Impeach the MF” might apply to to her soon.

Do Dems ever face consequences for their lawbreaking?

It seems not.

Me neither. They'll make a little noise about "fairness" and then divine somehow there was "no intent" to break the laws and let it quietly go away.

And they wonder why we have nothing but utter contempt for them.

There's a women's Federal prison not far from me in Danbury,CT. Maybe I could go visit her on the odd Saturday afternoon. And maybe if the filthy Somali moslem whore is convicted of immigration fraud (”marrying” her brother) I can make it a twofer.

the crime is that ball-less GOP will do nothing,
ever - as the ELECTED PRESIDENT and the PEOPLE
are attacked.

The GOP only wish their leader Ryan was back
with a few Romney clones.

Abortionists are also above the law, according to Democrats.

Unfortunately, I'll bet there are a fair number of republicans playing the game too.

I think we should throw all of them out every few years (term limits).

The Democrats have carved out all sorts of little niches where US laws do not apply. Sanctuary cities, abortion mills, and college campuses to name a few.

She don’t have to test it. That statement has been bull shit since 2000 at least. If it were true, both Clintons would have been in prison long ago.

No, their lawbreaking makes them more popular.

Democraps are absolutely without question above the law thanks to Republicans who do NOTHING. Even actors are as we saw in the case of Jussie Smollet. Consider the entire Rat party in DC, that whole mass of vermin, the only one who has ever gone to jail was Anthony Weiner for sexting and that was just to get him out of Hillarys hair not the fact that he had her emails on his laptop.

We can, using elections.

We need to have term limits on civil servants (masters) and provide no pensions.

It is, after all, supposed to be "pubic service".

Yep. And while we're at it, no ex-pols should be allowed to lobby (and vice versa).

I used to work for Representative Lawrence J Smith.

Not long after I left, he was convicted of inappropriate use of campaign funds and sent to Club Fed.

He and his son are now lobbyists in Washington DC.

Proof that the swamp protects it’s own.

I've said for some time that there were two points in American history where Americans let themselves down.

#1 - When "Peace Officers" became "Law Enforcement Officers".

There was a time when these men "kept the peace". If that meant busting a drunk troublemaker over the head and throwing them into jail for a night, so be it. They went before a judge, were sentenced to a fine, and if unable to pay they were kept in jail for a certain amount of time. Think $10 or 10 days.
But at least a youthful indiscretion didn't follow them and ruin their future lives.

#2 - When the term "Career Politician" came into being.

Again, there was a time when businessmen stepped away from their business for a period of time to serve their country in Congress. They were paid a minimum amount. When they stepped down, or were voted out of office, they went back to their business to make a living.
