Here's When Each State Plans on Lifting Their "Stay At Home" Order [hopeful...]

Just days after the media was busy blasting President Donald Trump for not implementing a federal lockdown and instead leaving those decisions up to the states, the media is now busy blasting President Trump for stating that he could end all lockdowns before the states decide to. It’s nice to see the media rally to defend state rights for once, though unfortunately it’s in the context of them being total hypocrites.

The states will ultimately decide when to re-open, and most actually do already have at timeline in place that span from April 15th to June 10th. Only six states haven’t yet given a timeframe for when they plan on lifting restrictions, perhaps because they’d likely be subject to change regardless.

As for those that have set dates, Forbes Magazine’s Suzanne Rowan Kelleher has the list. Note that all lifting on restrictions will be done on a rolling basis, not at once overnight.

April 15

Idaho

April 19

Kansas

April 20

Indiana (originally Apr. 7), Mississippi

April 21

Alaska (originally Apr. 11)

April 24

District of Columbia, Missouri, Montana (originally Apr. 10), Wisconsin

April 26

Colorado (originally Apr. 11)

April 27

South Carolina (originally Apr. 12)

April 29

New York (originally Apr. 15), North Carolina

April 30

Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia (originally Apr. 13), Hawaii, Illinois (originally Apr. 7), Louisiana (originally Apr. 13), Maine, Michigan (originally Apr. 13), Nevada, New Mexico (originally Apr. 10), Pennsylvania, Tennessee (originally Apr. 14), Texas

May 1

Ohio (originally Apr. 6), Utah (originally Apr. 13)

May 4

Massachusetts (originally Apr. 7), Minnesota (originally Apr. 10), New Hampshire, Washington (originally Apr. 6)

May 8

Rhode Island (originally Apr. 13)

May 15

Delaware, Vermont (originally Apr.15)

May 20

Connecticut (originally Apr. 22)

June 10

Virginia

Whichever state is yours – it certainly feels like this can’t end soon enough.

I hear beauty salons are doing this, or coming to people’s houses and cutting hair outdoors, masks, etc.

‘The GOP led PA Legislature is already trying to rein in Wolf.’

the legislature wants to adopt federal guidelines, which deems certain activities essential that this idiot has denied, like home construction...he can still veto, but yeah, they’re starting to turn the screws...

Gov Kay Ivy of Alabama spoke on this stuff yesterday. She is hoping we can start opening up in those counties that have few if any virus victims. Sadly, some of our most rural counties, with small populations, were the hardest hit.

Got that right and so did Little Texas with their song “God Blessed Texas” !
HEB or local grocer can’t get it?
No problem, local farmers’ market or feed store has it direct from farmers.

I don’t think his being a cancer survivor has anything to do with it. I do feel that his TDS is much more likely the reason.

Well you could be me, in Michigan, with Whitless Governor. It says 4/30 but I think she will extend it until 5/15. I just don’t trust her.

er... This article is false in regards to Idaho. Governor Brad Little has no plans to life the SIH order until he gets more testing done.

I’ve been going to my Pilates studio every week. The owner allows one person in at a time for private instruction. She has some new safety rules such as washing your hands upon entry and is not meeting new clients. It’s costing me 3X what I pay for a group class. For a month or two this is worth it.

Who says any of these dates are going to actually happen? This was done in reference to the flu. It had no precedence, thus no historical results. The state governments that did it, most of them, have been slowly losing control of the confidence and, I feel, laudative reaction to both the action and the people that made it.

So, when are they going to figure out a time to release the rest of the prisoners that are already pissed at them? The election is in November about the time the states are seeing the opening of the closed schools. Can our economy survive? Nope. But the media will make you think it will. And they already have their excuse as the “rebounding” of the virus has already started in China. (Whether it has or not)

I note that Oklahoma isn’t listed. Disturbing, as our Governor was reluctant to institute the “Safer at Home” order (not “Stay at Home” or “Shelter in Place”) in the first place. He didn’t want to shut down business either; he was under immense pressure to do so by a group of left-leaning state legislators and other assorted nimrods on social media.

He’s also publicly expressed eagerness to re-open. Not sure why he hasn’t committed to a date yet, even hypothetically.

I have all the sympathy in the world for the normal people in Michigan and other oppressed states.

Trusting the FrauFuhrer would be a big mistake.

You gotta admit this whole modeling fiasco has been a huge success and we can expect more to come.
One of the unintended consequences could be a huge underground economy much like the 3 billion plus drug trade but more in line with Prohibition.

The easier solution is to imprison “baby-Face Beshear forever and let the People go free.

California won’t open until the state has total control of EVERYTHING in the state. They have not given a reopening date because they do not have control over all aspects of the public.
Those F^^Kheads are trying to take my pension and retirement accounts again! About every two to three years the assholes make another run at it. I can’t wait to get out of this shit-hole state.

Title said “Hopeful.” I don’t think any dates are set.

I’m hoping we go back April 30/May 1.
