One of the three former police officers charged with aiding and abetting the murder of George Floyd had a string of criminal offences and traffic violations before he became a cop.

Thomas Lane, 37, of St. Paul, was charged on Wednesday afternoon in relation to Floyd's death, which happened when he was on his fourth full-time shift as a police officer.

Before he joined the force, Business Insider revealed that Lane had racked up a slew of traffic violations and became an officer despite having a criminal record.

“I am seeing on Twitter that George Floyd has a twin brother. (video of him speaking out against Trump) Really???? A twin?

“My question: Did he have a twin brother BEFORE he “died”?”

Naw, can’t be a rogue cop with prior record It’s “Systemic racism” WETF that means

Yup. And it's also worth noting that one of the charged officers, Officer Kueng, is black.

Link

Yet, everybody yells that the motive was racism.

I’ve been wanting to fly to Minneapolis and rent a car to see MN, IA, and ND, three of the five states I have not yet visited. Minneapolis is isn’t making it an easier.

“The coroner attributed the cause of death to cardiac arrest.”

Assuming that’s accurate, do you not think having one’s windpipe constructed for 8 minutes or so would be the major acute contributor to the stress on the heart?

I read the entire article and I did not get a sense that Lane was much of a criminal.

Daily Mail seems to be making a mountain out of a molehill.

You got this right..there something really odd here..add in the timing

Fyi.. they will stretch out the cop trial..and he will get off just before election day.. because the left will take a dive on the the case.. they want the violence of the cop geting off as the October surprise....

mass riots on election day is perfect for mass fraud on election day...yhe dem plan

This can’t be right. Minneapolis has a democrat mayor, a democrat city council, and a black police chief who answers to both. If there’s a problem with the Minneapolis Police Department and who it hires, it is obviously President Trump’s fault. /s

Another odd piece to add to the mix =>

"Customs police seized $900,000 in counterfeit money from a shipping container — all in $1 bills"

January 28, 2020

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized $900,000 in counterfeit US currency from a commercial rail shipment from China. They were packed in 45 cartons of counterfeit $1 bills.

Officers made the discovery last week at the International Falls Port of Entry in Minnesota.

James Woods has been talking about counterfeiting on Twitter as well.

Something to keep tabs on in the future.

“Whatever his background, if that is correct, then he doesn’t deserve to be convicted of anything.”

Oh, this guy is a major criminal. Speeding, obstructing traffic and two parking meter violations were among the four related to traffic violations but he also faced more serious criminal charges on several occasions.

Faced you notice. Not convicted.

The rioters obstructed traffic on roads and nothing was done to them.

When he was 18, Lane was charged with two counts of obstructing legal process, damaging property, unlawful assembly, and disorderly conduct but details of the incident are not available. He was convicted on two of the charges: obstructing legal process and one charge of damaging property.

Notice no charges of physicality were involved.

Six years later, he had another run in with the law in March 2007, after throwing a party and being found guilty of hosting a noisy gathering.

This guy is obviously a hardened criminal. We have politicians at the highest levels that do more than this. We have some in jail right now. But this guy is a bad dude for this? God what a fishing trip.

Floyd as referenced to the toxicity report, had four ties a lethal dose respective to someone without a developed a tolerance to fentanyl by way of repeated use over an extended time period. Only one of the many drugs found in his body through the autopsy process.

Maybe stuff like that is a prerequisite for being a cop there.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's at least partially true.

And it’s unfortunate it needed to be.
