What is “controversial” about people defending themselves and their property?
Sounds like the city manager is a Democrat thug.
Anyone who thinks this current situation is going to blow over is dreaming. This is the new normal. What the chief said was in no way wrong. But it didn’t 100% fit the PC narrative. So his career must be ruined. The new normal.

Why did he get canned over defending the 2nd amendment?
Social media claims another one.
Why did he resign?
Why make their lives easier?
I’d be willing to bet if the Chief (isn’t that now racist?) had posted BLACK LIES MATTER and a picture of himself kneeling, he would not have been fired but praised and glorified.

Since he resigned I doubt he plans on challenging it.
When all of these cities and counties disband or drastically reduce police budgets and they melt down, who they gonna blame...Pres. Trump of course.
This is why I write that the police are the enemy, but not necessarily individual officers. Good officers are fired by criminal politicians and replaced by bad officers.
