Michelle Obama, in DNC speech, rips Trump White House for 'chaos' and 'lack of empathy'

Former first lady Michelle Obama, in a measured but searing address Monday to close out Democrats' opening convention night, accused President Trump's White House of operating in "chaos" and without "empathy" as she urged voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden like their lives depend on it.

In prerecorded remarks, Obama stressed the “awesome power of the presidency,” while saying the job “requires clear-headed judgment, a mastery of complex and competing issues, a moral compass and an ability to listen.”

She added: “Whenever we look to this White House for some leadership or consultation or any semblance of steadiness, what we get instead is chaos, division and a total and utter lack of empathy.”

The only lack of empathy that Trump has is for the Leftist ideas of the Dims.

Of course you’d never know that by the media’s portrayal of Trump, which has ignored every empathetic move that Trump has made towards any individuals or groups.

I think they are still making last minute decisions on that.

Yesterday in Wisconsin, President held a rally more like his classic rallies, perhaps not as big, but at least it was real, and there were a lot of real people there.

He joked several times about calling it a “peaceful protest”, because “we can’t call it a rally”.

I believe that following the criticism for holding the Tulsa Oklahoma rally, he is “testing the waters“ to see how people feel about it now.

Some of the perceptions are changing in the last month -some of the countries and states that didn’t shut down are doling as well or better than the places that did - it used to be taboo to say that, but now maybe not so much.

Drs Fauci and Birx seems to have been successfully put on the back burner - and there doesn’t seem to be a major hue and cry about it - even from the Left. Maybe enough people are getting tired of this crap that the Left isn’t sure which way the wind is blowing.

Maybe this will embolden the Trump campaign to make their rally more “real” and less phoned in.

I think it would really help rev up the Trump enthusiasm, especially to draw a contrast with the obviously fake Democrat nonevent.

“Honestly surprised they put her out as an opening act.”

There’s no way they want any kind of real-time contrast between her and Biden.
