If Trump held this 1 congressional district in Nebraska (Nebraska like Maine splits their electoral college votes by district), we would be having a completely different conversation right now. Trump could tie the election at 269 simply by winning Pennsylvania, Maine 2nd District and Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin would not be needed.
This is a suburban republican district that went hard for Biden and Trump lost it by 7 points. He won the District in 2016 by 1%.
It would be such a punch in the gut if Trump pulls Pennsylvania out and loses 270-268 to Sleepy Joe.

That makes absolutely NO sense. Are there other such districts in the US?
Women.
they have left nothing to chance.
Could be the margin.
An electoral tie is broken by the House or am I misunderstanding something?
270-268 is just asking for a faithless elector. Funny enough, I predicted Trump would get 270 and Sleepy would get 268 in my election scenario and that a faithless elector would move this to 269-269. I may end up being right after all (except instead of one jumping from Trump it’ll happen TO Trump). This just makes too much sense for 2020 considering how this year has gone.
You’re right but it’s based on the number of states not a total house vote. In this scenario Trump would win (assuming it was party line)
Each state delegation gets 1 vote. Essentially, CA and WY become equals.
White, college aged women.
Tony,
You are quick. I couldn’t keep up with your posts. I just caught up.
Omaha would put Biddy at 270. Nebraska should be embarrassed
The Supreme Court ruled Faithless electors are not able to be “faithless.”
Omaha-Lincoln area?
Nebraska legislature should meet and change the rule before the electoral college is selected. They have the power to change to change to winner take all before they report.
“Nebraska legislature should meet and change the rule before the electoral college is selected. They have the power to change to change to winner take all before they report.”
Yes, but what would Maine do then with their 2nd district?
My math was effed up though until I caught it, I don’t even know what I was doing wrong on the electoral map.
