“But “I think that there are some big risks for Republicans, though in the medium term,” he added. “There’s a reason that the politics on gay marriage shifted so quickly. … The broad middle of this country does not want to see gay people or trans people be targeted.”
...and they don’t want to see child Groomers targeted? Really?
LGBTQ...whatever....is ALL IMMORAL and the TRANSGENDER thing is PURE EVIL!! ALL against GOD!
No, the broad middle of this country does not want to see grade school children targeted by gay or trans people.
I think this is dead wrong. I think a lot of us are tired seeing gay couples, interracial couples, and "woke-ism" to the extreme in TV ads and shows. Evidently white males are no longer available for TV ads. A friend of mine has an 8 year old grandson who likes to watch the TV series 911 because he loves fire engines. My friend, however, is tired of explaining why the program shows two men in bed kissing and a few minutes later shows two women kissing in bed. Personally, what you do in private is your own business as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. That said, I don't want to see it on TV all the time.
Please this guys a nitwit. And not even a Republican. So more fake news
So…. They got a “what Republicans think” quote from the spokesman of one of the more dismal political failures of the past decade, and who isn’t even a republican anymore. Good job, media!!
That being said, he’s not wrong. Politicians always overreach. Doesn’t matter if they’re D or R.
It's what they do best.
“There’s a reason that the politics on gay marriage shifted so quickly.”
Yea. Despite state laws and referendums expressing the will of the people, gay marriage was shoved down our throats like abortion. Kennedy said anyone who opposes the decision is a bigot. Opponents didn’t embrace gay marriage. They just shook their heads and sucked it up. Now are kids are groomed in kindergarten and the Boy Scouts are bankrupt.
On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court (5-4) struck down all state bans on same-sex marriage, legalized it in all fifty states, and required states to honor out-of-state same-sex marriage licenses in the case Obergefell v. Hodges.
” spokesman for Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential bid who has since left the GOP”
And we need to listen to this dull blade for what reason?
‘moderates’ ??
There are none
More RINOs who just need to join the criminal democrats party.
It would appear that ol’ Tim here has been to the mitt romney school of doublespeak..
These RINO’s are engaging in revisionist history.
The Homosexual marriage vote failed in every state (except Oregon, Minnesota, Maine). Even Californians voted NO to homo marriage.
It wasn’t until the Supreme Court with Anthony Kennedy swing vote, (even the Dread Pirate Roberts voted NO) somehow found that homosexuals have a constitutional right to marriage. It was NOT the “broad middle” that demanded homo marriage.
Advisor to Jeb! ? Jeb! Who got 1.9% of the republican primary vote? We should take his advice?
“Some Republicans” ARE NOT Republicans.
So because RINOS gave up the fight for sexual morality embracing every abomination under the sun, conservatives who still think morality matters should wave a white flag? What a loser!
“Tim Miller, a former spokesman for Jeb Bush...” stopped reading after this opening line. YEB! always a fool! Not ashamed to show it!
Almost anything coming out of the PPH is “BUSHIE BULL SHIT” or “LEFTARD” FLUFF! What a waste of a tree!
This country has spent 150 years stamping out birthright discrimination only for a bunch of bigots to turn this movement into preferences for psychotic behavior and discrimination against alternative birthrights. I could be wrong, but I believe the majority of middle America is fed up. If I’m wrong then at least we stood for what’s right and not for what’s wrong.
