Since Karine Jean-Pierre took over from Jen Psaki as White House press secretary last month, the daily briefings have gotten hard to watch.

I miss Jen Psaki. At least, in a weird way, she operated within a certain logic and consistency. Her line of responses did not waver, nor did she have to consult a “book” for the answer for questions that held some bearing on the situation.
But then, ginger people have no souls. They are animated by Satanic impulses.

Give her a chance, first black, first lez, etc... to be in that position. So many firsts. /sarc
Jen the witch was good in that role solely due to the prop up media. Seldom did she get a nasty or sarcastic question or one where she had to cover the gross mistakes of the administration. When pushed she would issue her statement and move on. Trumps people were hounded as soon as they hit the podium.
This one will wilt when it gets closer to the election and she will evaporate after it because she will be the lightening rod for the disaster coming for the dems.
BTW, it would be media responsibility to push for an actual press conference. So far, crickets. They know that the a hole would have a tough time just answering simple questions so unlike in the past, there is never any mention of a real press conference.
They will; not be able to fire her, lest they be accused of sexism and homophobia. The hits just keep on coming. FJB.

i do tend to think psaki was in her way one of the great press secretaries, like carville or ziegler. she always stayed on message. of course, dems play on easy mode ...
This one even makes Kamala look ‘good’.
Not only does she totally read the answer the administration is putting out but she does that poorly.

Thats the whole point. The Admin. wants her there so she doesn’t provide any useful info. If you complain, the discussion devolves to black/queer/woman...a non-starter.

This was a brilliant pick on the part of Joe’s handlers. Not only is she immune from any tough questions, being a trifecta of black, female and queer, but she makes Joe look competent in comparison.
There’s a reason affirmative action doesn’t work.
