A 17-year-old girl who de-transitioned from a boy has warned against letting children change gender.
Chloe Cole opened up about how taking puberty blockers and having surgery 'irreversibly and painfully' damaged her body from the age of 13.
She said it has left her unlikely to be able to have children and unable to breastfeed if she can because she had a double mastectomy.
She also told how she could be at risk of certain types of cancer - such as cervical cancer - due to her invasive treatment.
Chloe revealed her trauma in heartbreaking testimony during a hearing on reimbursements being made to those seeking hormone therapy in Florida.
It comes after Governor Ron DeSantis last month moved to ban transition therapies for children and revoke Medicaid support for trans adults' treatments in the state.
The Republican state leader backed a letter sent by the state surgeon general , who DeSantis appointed to his post in February.
Joseph Lapado urged Florida's Board of Medicine establish a new 'standard of care' for treating minors considering a transition.

The Detransitioners are becoming known..Transgender activists say Detransitioners, or people who once identified as the opposite sex, are like 0.01% of transgenders, IOW negligible. I know they are important to the struggle for reality.
It is certainly misused by leftists; neither Bush nor Trump are "literally Hitler", as hyperventilating leftists would have you believe. Comparing those same leftists to Nazis, though, is increasingly apt and we should not shy away from it.
DeSantis needs to support a law that enables Detransitioners to sue medical doctors and therapists who enable this medical horror show.
I havent read your links on the side effects of puberty blockersnyet, but I know puberty blockers cause bone loss or brittle bones, reduce IQ by 8 points (at least), stop males who’ve had a lopitoffame from ever experiencing orgasm, according to Jazz Jennings transgendered plastic surgeon, and even more physical problems.
My personal belief is that the Homosexual Agenda is behind the netizens pushing for very young girls to surgically amputate their breasts. As someone who considered getting breast implants for a long time. I finally decided not to, as I found I can spot breast implants 98% of the time on men, and women 85% of the time. That must mean men can tell 100% of the time, upon meeting a transgender. Homosexuals are more than happy when women remove their sexual body parts.
