For Wyoming Democrats, voting for Cheney is another chance to vote against Trump

Tanner Ewalt and his friends have a saying.

"We all have to vote for Liz Cheney. I'm so sorry."

Ewalt is a 20-year-old University of Wyoming student from Casper majoring in political science. In the 2020 Democratic primary, he voted for ultra-left presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Now, he and other staunch Democrats across Wyoming are changing their party registration to support Cheney -- who voted with former President Donald Trump 93% of the time during her tenure -- in next month's Republican primary.

Cheney remains deeply conservative, and her family name has served as a liberal boogeyman since her father was vice president. She's attracting growing Democratic support, however, not only for her vote to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, but also for her relentless criticism of the former president as a threat to democracy and the rule of law. That opposition has spurred the toughest reelection fight of her political career in the form of Trump-backed natural resources attorney Harriet Hageman

Then it will be even more gratifying to see Lez Chaney get crushed in the primary.

And thanks to Wyoming’s sore loser law, she will not be able to run as an independent in the general election.

I heard Doug Ducey, Arizona governor and honcho of the Republican Governors Association this morning. He does not support President Trump - at all. He didn’t address the Cheney situation, but his leaning was crystal clear. I’m still nervous about Cheney, polls or no polls.

If you say that Cheney is conservative. Well, you are an idiot. Stay in Wyoming. I hope a bear gets you and you can finally contribute something to society — the bear didn’t get a decent human being.

Yup...there just aren’t enough of them to cross over and throw the Republican Primary her way. She’s toast.

Deeply conservative? Must be a different definition of conservative.

This is why the voting age should be 25. The brain doesn’t mature until 25.

Fun fact: Wyoming has only one four-year university in the entire state. A major reason why the state is so conservative and based.

Oh,I don’t doubt it. The Deep state has many tricks up it’s sleeves and trying to rescue neocons is their favorite pastime.
My previous comment is something that can hurt her with the abortionists. I saw a thread posted from Twitter where she celebrated the overturning of roe versus Wade and was completely Savaged by democrats.

Hageman would be wise to force Cheney to be more vocal about being Pro-Life.
