Nolte: Ron DeSantis Should Run for President … Now
https://www.breitbart.com ^ | November 10. 2022 | John Nolte

Posted on 11/10/2022 10:53:09 AM PST by NCDragon

If Ron DeSantis wants to become president, he should not wait his turn; he should run in 2024.

There was only one red wave Tuesday night, and it hit Florida like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

Obviously, I was expecting a red wave across America. Obviously, I was wrong. But had anyone predicted the scope of the DeSantis triumph in Florida, I would have laughed in their face.

Florida’s a swing state, you moron!

DeSantis almost lost in 2018, you moron!

Charlie Crist has already won statewide and as governor, you moron!

Sure, DeSantis won’t lose by Miami-Dade by 21 points like he did in 2018, but win it by 11 points? No way.

Sure DeSantis will win the Hispanic vote, but 65 percent? No way.

Sure, DeSantis will beat Crist by four of five points, but by more than 19 points? No way.

And yet, that’s what happened. Four years ago, DeSantis barely eked out a win in a purple state, and, at least by the numbers, through his leadership and results, he turned that purple state into a state that’s redder than California is blue.

DeSantis is the future.

Trump is a three-time loser (2018, 2020, 2022).

DeSantis knows how to win. Trump will bring only losses. It’s time to move on or spend the next decade in the wilderness.

DeSantis would be both sleazy and stupid to not wait until 2028.

You actually think Biden beat Trump in 2020? Good grief.

Hell yes, Trump should have a primary. Steel sharpens steel. If he doesn’t have a primary, he gets lazy and he has some things to answer for.

Telling people they have to do what you want based on your claim that there are no alternatives is a bad sales tactic.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

You will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

I think there is little question that DeSantis will run. He doesn’t want to do it too soon after being reelected governor. But IMHO, come late next year, he will announce and there will be two big elephants in a room that crowds out everyone else if Trump insists on running next week.

Conservatives are much more motivated to leave those blue states.

And the people migrating from blue states to red states with their jobs are more likely to be conservatives, too.

It's hard to believe Indiana voted for Obama in 2008. I'm convinced that the massive migration of employers and their workers out of Illinois in the years after that have made Indiana one of the "reddest" states in the U.S. today.

Yeah run now and be destroyed in the primary that makes no sense.

On April 1st of 2020 -- AFTER the “two weeks to flatten the curve” ended -- Ron DeSantis issued a 30-day stay-at-home lockdown order for Florida residents.

Just read that again and think about it, folks.

- When this was done in Australia, we called it Nazi sh!t.
- When this was done in Israel, we called it Nazi sh!t.
- When this was done in Great Britain, we called it Nazi sh!t.
- When this was done in New York City, we called it Nazi sh!t.
- When this was done in Michigan, we called it Nazi sh!t.

When this was done in FLORIDA, I called it Nazi sh!t.

In my humble opinion, this one action DeSantis took as governor of Florida ought to utterly and completely disqualify him from ever holding public office.

Nolte didn’t notice that Little Marco did almost as well as DeSantis... And his opponent was considerably tougher to run against than the comical Crist.

“They emerge every 4 years”

I am noticing that. Many of the names criticizing Trump now.. I never see them comment on news stories.

Oh get real. Almost every state was locking down. DeSantis was one of the first to open back up, much to the frustration of President Trump and the joy of the MSM, salivating over the clever “DeathSantis” nickname they came up with.

You don’t like DeSantis. I get it. But you’re not being honest as to why because last week it was because he was a lawyer while this week it’s because he briefly locked down Florida.

Just tell the truth. You don’t like Ron DeSantis because he makes Trump look incompetent.

I agree. Announcing a run for President now makes no sense. As much as I want to see Desantis run for President - now is not the time.

Trump 2024 - 2028
Desantis 2028 - 2036
Lake 2036 - 2044

Someone should explain to Nolte what an engineered “election” looks like.
