President Biden tweeted this afternoon, “The recent elections made an emphatic statement that in America, the will of the people prevails.”
But was it the will of Millennials and Gen-Z voters to be bamboozled by Team Biden and the Democratic Party?
Hopes for a red wave of Republican victories on Election Day were shattered by the 28% advantage that voters in the 18-29 age group delivered to Democratic candidates. Two days after the election, Biden tweeted, “I want to thank the young people of this nation” who voted for “student debt relief.” Jon Cooper, a former top Biden campaign operative, tweeted, “Young people: You saved our butts. THANK YOU.”
Legions of young voters were energized to support Democrats by Biden’s Aug. 24 announcement that he was forgiving up to $20,000 of student debt per person, which would cost taxpayers $400 billion-plus.
While the votes that 20-somethings delivered last Tuesday are irrevocable, Biden’s student debt relief is contingent on federal court approval. And his bailout is being shot to pieces in courtrooms across the nation.
Two days after the election, federal judge Mark Pittman struck down the bailout as an unconstitutional decree: “In this country, we are not ruled by an all-powerful executive with a pen and a phone. Instead, we are ruled by a Constitution that provides for three distinct and independent branches of government.” Pittman rejected the “emergency” basis of the order in part because Biden had proclaimed on “60 Minutes” that “the pandemic is over.”
Democrats responded by vilifying Judge Pittman. Sen. Elizabeth Warren denounced the “lawless ruling from a Trump-appointed judge.” So any judge who doesn’t recognize that presidents are entitled to boundless power is “lawless”?

And the Republicans failed to get the message out that Biden’s promise was a blatant lie.
At this time, there is some money, food on the table, clothes on their back, some gas in the car, and heat in the home, and a degree of freedom.
A degree of comfort still to blunt the trauma of missing a free ride.
In the future, many of those things will be BOHICA for those who are alive in the next 1 to 100 years.
It doesn’t hurt so much when a promise over a cash payout is reneged on, but wait until they have to freeze and starve, never mind being treated as slaves.

Colleges and universities lied to them about the value of the education they were getting. Why not Biden wrt paying back the money they used for it. THAT’S EDUCATION..

The October surprises that allowed them to win were the obvious bribe (non-bribe) of student loan payoffs, and the SC ruling on the Roe v. Wade. WEll planned Democrats..The mistake the Repubs made was letting them frame the issues. The SC decision confirmed that abortion was a STATE RIGHTS Issue, not a moral issue, and they did not define the unconstitutionality of the Student bail out. That is what a corrupt media is for - to frame the issues for the Democrats and to steal votes.

It wasn’t just young voters. Many parents are the ones drowning in college debt since they are paying for it. I’m wondering how many republicans voted democrat because of this, but wont say.
Generation Z does not read the New York Post. They get all their news from late night comedians (and TicToc).
The Dems bank on their voters having the memory of a goldfish.
So far, it’s worked out pretty well for them.

The biggest screw job was daring the spr to lower the gas prices….people either vote for someone or anger against someone…. People weren’t pissed about gas prices that came down a dollar.

I guess the young voters were really suckers listening to Joe Biden,Thinking they were actually going to get a loan bailout from the taxpayers.
Maybe they should pay attention and remember that the Congress is in control of the purse strings and not the President.
The plan all along was to use this program to collect addresses of Future democrats and mail them ballots. Then along with the promise that if they vote democrat they would get the loan forgiveness.
Bunch of idiots fell for it and they will still vote for him.
