Senior Israeli official says Saudi Arabia recognized a weakness in the West, leading the way for its agreement to restore diplomatic ties with Iran
A senior Israeli official on Friday blamed the previous government for the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran on restoring diplomatic ties between the country.
Speaking to reporters who traveled with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Rome, the senior official said that the agreement is also the result of weakness towards Iran by the US and the West.
"The Saudis recognized a weakness by the West and Israel," said the official, who added the Saudis "felt exposed and were looking for other avenues."...

This is the Israeli view of things from Benjamin Netanyahu's government.
Weakness in Israel and the West driving the Saudis closer to Iran is the view expressed.
So, is Iran going to stop supplying the Houthis with missiles?
That remains to be seen but this is a step that could lead to that.
