BOSTON -- Couples filling out marriage certificates in Boston will no longer be required to identify their sex or gender under a new policy adopted by the city Tuesday.
“Our fundamental charge in public service is ensuring that our services and opportunities reach everyone, and that starts with affirming and supporting constituents of all identities,” Mayor Michelle Wu said in a statement.
“Boston must continue to work to dismantle the historic inequities and injustices that persist. This update to Boston marriage licenses is a huge step in building a city that is truly inclusive," she added.

I've done a lot of genealogy studying of our family. I cannot imagine sex being missing from a marriage certificate or a birth certificate. Future genealogists are going to hate what the insane left is doing.
Since I retired from a Boston hospital the only two reasons I set foot in the city are for medical care...and the airport.

Marriage in effect doesn’t exist there. What point is there to get a certificate or register?
As we’ve observed for years - their goal was not to “expand” marriage by eliminating its definition, but to destroy it.
