That would certainly be a side benefit...and would also apply to any calling themselves R's who as a matter of record worked against him on policy issues.
He never agreed to become Speaker, clearly false reporting in the title. He wouldn’t win the vote, which would probably be embarrassing, nor does he have time to even deal with something else like that right now.
The amount of breathless anticipation over something that has absolutely zero chance of happening is pathetic.
Sorry if I sound gruff or mean, or am ruining anyone’s day, but the number of people living in fantasy land these days is bizarre. I think we’re clearly seeing evidence of Mass Formation Psychosis or whatever it’s actually called in secret.

It’s no longer automatically paranoid to be suspicious of those who claim to lead us.
It seems as if these boards have been hijacked by the Marxist Left to destroy any positive ideas that would fix the mess they have created.
President Trump would be an excellent one to fill the Speaker’s position. In fact, Newt could do an excellent job too. Steve Scalise would be great too, but he has multiple myeloma and, even though his chemotherapy is showing recovery, I worry because cancer has a way of coming back.
I’d love Speaker Donald Trump. He would be funny behind Biden at the State of the Union speech.
