Spent the entire month of June in the va hospital. Again (second year in a row). And then 4 1/2 months in a skilled nursing rehab facility. Solved some of the medical issues but I'm still under the weather. Arms and hands still extremely weak. Still in bed for most of my time. Still can't sit in my powerchair very long. Still can't feed myself, etc. Still can't type. Still using voice recognition software to enter posts, etc. Very slow.
Our big problem right now is Chris is overwhelmed and stressed out. We're now looking for a full-time, live-in 24/7 caregiver. We can offer a salary plus room and board to the right person.
So basically, I've been in bed now for a year and a half And I've lost most of my strength. It's gonna take a lot of therapy To get me back on my feet. Still praying for miracles.

Hope you get better real soon. My sister MinuteGal (she’s now 92 years young) was in the hospital a month ago and has now been over in a Rehab place for two weeks, and probably will still be there for another week or two. She now lives in a very nice assisted living place here in FL near to where I live, but has been in sick bay for 3 weeks now and counting.
She got hit by a variety of ailments all at once (like the biblical Job), topped off by a fall. But she’s tough, like you, and is getting better now, although very weak still.
I pray both you and my sister get your strength back ASAP. She asks about how you are doing periodically, and about other of her Freeper friends, and I will report in to her tonight about your status. She will be rooting for your recovery as soon as I speak to her about you, as she admires you so much. Here’s to getting back in fighting shape for both of you. There’s a very important election coming up. She’s chomping at the bit to vote absentee.
She wants us to bring her Trump pic mug over to her in ReHab, lol. Ever the conservative champion for our causes, and remains politically as feisty as ever. She misses FR, but I report to her all the time as to what is happening on it, and about her favorite Freepers, you being right at the top of her list. Take care.
