Two brand spanking new polls out of New Hampshire are very bad news for Nikki Haley, aka Birdbrain, aka Nikki New Taxes, aka Nikki da Neocon. As it turns out, the Coalition of the Lukewarm (heavily suburban, female, college-educated milquetoast independents and Trump-hating Democrats) that she is putting together doesn’t appear to be enough to deliver her the Granite State.
The first poll to sound the alarm for Nikki was released earlier today, and it was sponsored by the Boston Globe. The poll shows Trump with an absolutely massive lead with New Hampshire Republicans, and, even worse for Nikki, he’s running neck and neck with her with independents.
That’s not the result Nikki wants to hear, as she’s banking on Democrats and independents pulling Republican primary ballots and delivering her the win. If she splits independent voters with Trump, she’s naan.
One poll could be an outlier, but two are a trend. The next poll to drop was conducted by St. Anselm, and it shows Trump breaching the 50% mark for a majority of the vote. In the poll, Nikki does do slightly better with independents than the Boston Globe poll, but she’s losing with Republicans by 40 points.
After Iowa, Nikki Haley wants us all to believe that this is a two-man race, despite the fact that she came in third place. Perhaps her speechwriter forgot to update the script.
The evil bitch should be expelled from the party and returned to the kennel.
It is one of the smart things DeSantis has done.....avoid the anti-conservative NH campaign.
DeSantis has not spent much time or money in NH because it usually never turns out well for true conservatives.
At the risk of sounding petty, I would like to see Nikki’s REAL HAIR.

Independents are probably mostly just people who are not very involved in politics. You know, they have a life, kids, a job, hobbies, other interests.

The problem for DeSantis is that he has spent a ton of money in New Hampshire to get his 4 or 5 or 6%, whichever poll you believe.

He has spent $54.8 million in the state—more than Donald Trump.
The Deep State will put enormous pressure on Trump to pick Haley as his running mate. She'll be their secret agent, just like Pence was in his first administration.
Gotta watch out for the onslaught of Dems who will vote in the GOP Primary in NH. It’s legal there, and they will vote for Haley to diminish Trump.

I wonder how politics would be if EVERYONE registered as an Independent. I always vote Republican but I’m registered Independent because I don’t the GOP (or anyone else) assuming my vote is theirs. Let them think they have to earn it.

Many independents are too intellecually lazy to search for the truth.
The both sides argument is their convenient exit ramp.

This is merely a modified limited hangout because Deep State doesn’t want to acknowledge just how bad she’s really doing.
It's called branding and it's effective in focusing attention on your opponents flaws, but yes I agree you have to play to the audience regardless of their attenuated intellect.
